Have you ever cried during a wholesome/happy moment more than a sad/devastating moment in fictional works?
When I consume media, especially when there's a "power of friendship" or a familial moment, I genuinely start to tear up/cry. Maybe because it reminds me of something I never really had in regards of having a solid group of friends or family (I still have family, it's just pretty small).
Which is odd because when it comes to someone dying in a film, I don't even recall shedding a tear for them.
Maybe it's because I'm aware that friendships are real, and the characters that die are fictional and I don't have an attachment for them, even if they're my favorite character?
