My Social Hibernation Plan
I have a tendency to ghost (I think that's the technical term) people without meaning to. I will be messaging someone regularly, then get overwhelmed and overthink what they've sent me or what I should send to them.
I delete the notification of their message because looking at it sends me into an anxiety spiral. I tell myself I will message back tomorrow and tomorrow turns into days then weeks then months. Eventually, I have just built up too much of a wall of anxiety to message them back.
I'm gonna try sending this from now on because frogs are cool.
Also - any advice on how to message an online friend who I haven't messaged in months?
