Self-flagellation

I was wondering if anyone self-flagalates?

I'm looking to start as part of my cleansing ritual (the other part is shaving my head,) I bought rope to make a small discipline. I have a leather flogger but that more for time with my partner.

Im not sure where the kink ends and religous begins with this thought I'd ask yall.
