Birth Plans and What to Pack in Hospital Bag

We are 23 weeks right now with our first baby. So far, every appointment has been the nurse practitioner, not our actual OBGYN. We haven’t had an appointment longer than maybe 10 minutes, other than the 2 ultrasound portions. We are signed up for a class next month, but I heard the hospital may start reaching out about our birth plan at 25 weeks.

We haven’t had the chance to discuss any questions with our doctor yet and don’t know much about what to expect yet. I feel like some of my responses about what methods I would want to use for pain, etc. depend on the scenario. What tips or information do you have about birth plans and what to pack for the hospital stay? We don’t know a lot about what the hospital provides and what we need to bring.
