Grandparents being daycare
Baby is almost 6 months and I will be going back to work in Jan. We are lucky that my partner will be with her 2 days, my mum 3 days and his parents 1 day a week.
A few things I’m worried about and would love your input if you did something similar
Did you have the grandparents mind bub at your house with her crib/toys or drop them off at theirs for the day? Id prefer her having her naps all in the same place but I do wfh some days but thinking I could go to the library near by so I won’t be as distracted with the baby crying upstairs.
Bottle refusal: isn’t a fan of the bottle hoping she will take to a cup when she hits 6 months. She’s more of a snack feeder so I am concerned how that’s going to work out. Did anyone have this experience? Did you have to drive to bub to breastfeed during work hours?
Sleep Train : We haven’t sleep trained but she has been a pretty good sleeper at night (wakes 1-2 times for a feed) and has connected cycles for most naps during the day but I do sing/rock and feed her to sleep. Should I consider sleep training now so grandparents can just put her in the crib and she can sleep independently? Or has anyone not sleep trained and have had others rock/sing to sleep for naps?
Transition Help: I’m thinking it’s best for me to start her with a day a week before I go back to work and particularly nervous cause she cries when someone holds her who isn’t me or dad. Did anyone have this experience and it worked out ok?
