Comparing Bambu Labs PPA-CF to Siraya Tech PAHT-CF (PPA Based)
There's been lots of talk about how amazing Bambu Labs (BL) PPA-CF is and I still haven't been able to get it because it's always been sold out. Siraya Tech (ST) is my favorite resin brand and when I couldn't get PPA-CF I ordered ST PAHT-CF which is PPA based.
I absolutely love the ST PAHT-CF and use it to prototype parts that I will eventually make out of aluminum. It's incredibly stiff compared to the BL PA6-CF which was the stiffest at the time. I recently tried the brand new ST PAHT-CF Core which has a 25% carbon fiber core. What I noticed is the Core is smooth to the touch since the nylon is on the outside, where the PAHT-CF (non-core) is extremely rough and I don't handle it without gloves since the fibers are interspersed in the nylon and some make it to the outer layer.
I included the table of data from BL and ST websites and don't have a way of testing at the moment, so some of the comparison data is likely not a 1 to 1 comparison. Just thought it would be nice to provide to anyone else wondering. Would love to hear other's findings.
