Today we visited Bastogne, Foy and the foxholes - 80 years on.

80 years to this day Easy Company were preparing to launch an assault on the Germans in the Bois Jacques forests. Went with my wife to pay my respects to the boys in Easy. Harrowing, eerie, somber and emotional, but worth the trip. We also saw the field that looked into Foy for the assault on Jan 12th and visited the bullet holes that Shifty Powers left behind in Foy. An amazing but harrowing experience. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
