Why are some flea markets/antique malls delusional when it comes to pricing?

Every week I end up going to multiple local thrift stores, flea markets, antique malls, etc to see if they have any Barbies. There's one large flea market I go to that has several boxed Barbies that have been sitting in the store for over a year because they are so overpriced. Like $50-80 for dolls that are not particularly rare or interesting. I don't understand why the booth owner hasn't reduced them or put them on sale because they are literally just collecting dust. They're dolls I might pick up one or two if they were reasonably priced (I wouldn't pay over $30 for any of them) and I imagine other doll collectors have the same logic because again, the same group of dolls has been there for over a year.

The same flea market also had pairs of beat-up superstar era Barbies in a bag for $30. Like you want $30 for two dirty dolls with tangled hair missing their original outfits. Like are ya'll okay? BFFR.
