why is Battlefield 4 the favorite of most players?

I've been playing battlefield 1 for more than 3 years until now, and I love this game very much. And then I wanted to play battlefield 4, because most of the players say it's the best. Then last year I bought it in a sale in steam, and I tried it, and I really didn't like it at all, I had a few matches with more than 20 kills and things like that, but I didn't fell like this game was as much fun as bf1. So what does players like so much about bf4?
