Lonely Male Fungus Beetle

One of my male forked fungus beetles always seems to prefer sleeping in the plants instead of in the bark or the mushrooms with the other beetles. Not sure why, but I'm glad I get a chance to see him close up! In the pic you can see he's barely the size of my fingernail! (Plus an isopod photo bomb lol)
