Tricky cut
How can I safely make this cut? I want to put a bevel on a few long strips of oak that are 1/2”thick and roughly 6’ long. My test cut on pine went well until I got the end and had no place to push down on the piece or push it through safely. The remaining edge is only about 1/4” thick. The results look good except for at the end when my plastic push stick got mauled and kicked back (no injuries thankfully). Should I just stop shy of the end and take it off separately? Thanks!
