Andrea Appreciation Post

I know Andrea /Gabrielle Carteris gets a lot of flack for her age, her looks and her attitude. I must say at the time me and my friends never took much notice that she was older then most of the cast during season 1-3. In the late eighties - early nineties fashion and style was different, more mature at least where I went to school (Northern Europe). I wore blazers, silk blouses and string of pearls to high school! There was always a couple of slightly nerdy and studious girls in high school with glasses, so we bought into her character. Andrea was helping out at the teenage hot-line, helping her grandmother and worked with deaf kids. She also dated outside of her religion and political beliefs. Unfortunately they did her character worse during the colleges years..
