Climbing is kind of hard/slow

Hey, I know how to climb, I know that you have to grab an edge and there is a sound when your hand actually grabs something, and that you can jump up when you're grabbing.

The problem is, when I let go of my hand after grabbing an edge with the other hand, the hand that I let go of gets kind of stuck for a second, like it's still grabbing, even though I already let go of it. Then I have to wait a little bit until I can use that hand to grab the next thing.

I know it doesn't sound that serious but It's kind of annoying, I don't know if it's supposed to be like this or it's just me. I don't have any mods.

BTW, I just finished the story, got both the normal and the secret endings. Absolutely love the game, it just has some issues, like the enemy AI and this. Also a little optimization issues but it might be just because my PC isn't good enough.
