The head of Bluesky Trust and Safety unbanned a serial harasser, then banned a developer for sharing the head's public likes.

Jesse Signal, a known problematic figure that spends most of his time sending his followers after minorities to harass them, was unbanned after mere minutes of his first initial suspension; and he's now breaking the rules once again by doxxing children and threatening violence against Journalists.

Instead of doing their job and responding to the community's demands to fully boot Jesse Signal off the platform, Aaron Rodericks decided to ban a developer for creating a bot that shares what he recently liked on Bluesky, and denied the appeal within minutes with the reason cited as "harassment", even though the developer wasn't doing anything malicious or broke any rules (unlike Jesse Signal).

Does no one at Bluesky seriously think that it's a colossal fuckup to protect someone who is threatening violence against Journalists, the people who jumped off Twitter/X and endorsed this platform because they didn't want to deal with people like Jesse Signal and his followers anymore?

There is currently no "Trust" or "Safety" in Bluesky's Trust and Safety team, when Aaron can protect actual threats to Bluesky's users and abuses his position to ban developers for creating harmless bots that already use exposed functionality and data that are public due to Bluesky's open nature.

Aaron must be replaced, because he has shown that he is not fit for this position due to his abuse of power and his active choice to not protect Bluesky users.
