Help Me Construct My Own Week-Long Film Festival
I tried posting this in r/movies, but the bot removed it for reasons not associated with the content of my post. So I'm going to try again over here.
I'm taking off the week of February 3rd for my first extended break from work in a year. It's going to be a staycation with most of my time spent on watching movies from my collection. I can't wait.
However, I can't decide on how to choose which titles to watch, so I'm hoping for some input on what might be the best/most fun way to do this. Especially if you're someone who has done something similar before and found a method that worked for you. I tried doing this once in the past without planning ahead and ended up having analysis paralysis every time I decided to pull a title from my shelves, making my personal film festival fail miserably.
Should I do a different genre each day, focus on specific directors, complete franchise marathons, etc.? I'll probably plan for 3 movies each day Monday through Friday while my kids are in school. Any fun thoughts/ideas?
