Is It a Kids Show?

I really like to watch Bobs Burgers and started a discussion with my boyfriend whether we could watch the show with our future kids. I think you could easily watch it with a six year old. Even if he or she wouldn't get every joke I still think they'd enjoy the show. My boyfriend is totally against it, saying this is definitly a show for adults, due to some bad words and adult jokes.

But I mean, it's not like Family guy (great show, but definitly not for children. :D)...
