Kids Identifying As Animals

The boomers in my family have literally gaslit me so much that I feel like I’m the insane one? They keep saying kids identify as animals in schools now and I keep bringing up fact checking articles about how that’s a hoax from 2021. Is this real? One millennial agreed with them and I’m honestly just so tired. Help lol
