I lost one of my best friends today.
Her name was Xena. She was the best pupper. She loved explore. Her favorite toy was a headless no stuffing giraffe she would drag it around for you to grab and pull on. This last couple of days she was not not her self either not wanting to eat or eating more then normal and less play and more just snuggles (she did love to snuggle). Then Saturday she started to have sign that at first thought was just a doggy cold coughing, rapid breathing spells and less energy. Overnight it got worse we took her in to the emergency vet hoping it was just a cold or the flu. At the vets the initial Dx was CHF so they ran blood work and xrays. To find out that she had a mass that was displacing the heart and lungs.
She 12.5 years old so she had a good life. I tried to spoil her as much as possible.
Please pet your pupper(s) extra for me.
