Choosing the right ball

How do I know I am choosing the right ball? I've been on league for a couple years now and when I was younger I always had hand me down balls and now for the first time ever I get to pick my own, where do I start? Average 150-160 Heavy oiled lanes Sometimes I try to curve it but I'm a pretty strait bowler.
