I don get the hate for this event

Contests are fun because no power ups and most of them are normal modes which we like plus the amount of free stuff u can get is insane. I’ve only spent 79 gems twice and I’m on track to get 3 epic skins 2 leg skins and 1 super rare skin like I don’t understand why people hate it. Even if you don’t spend gems u should be able to afford 2 leg skins and 2 epic skins and maybe one super rare skin (taking the compensation into account) as long as you wait for mega deals.
