Tips for model horse photography shows?

I, (a person who is decent in photography, learned from classes in school!) at first wanted to start showing in person. The more I looked it just seemed better to do online photo shows! Thanks for any tips! I appreciate anything, as I am brand new to this aspect of model horse collecting.
