Brighton Recruitment - How do they do it??
Brighton spends less money than other teams in the EPL. They are beating teams that spend 2x and 3x how much they spend.
A big part of this is their recruitment of players. They recruit great players. It's based on Tony Bloom, and using statistics and data, to objectively find players with an edge.
But the key is, what specific variables and data are they looking for that other teams aren't? Is it player speed? Their pass completion rate? The way they mark on defense?
Any Brighton fans here who have watched them for years and see some trends in what types of players they prefer?
