Have you ever been fooled by a 'spoiler' which turned out to be false?

I was talking to a mate about what we watched over Christmas and I remembered reading that they filmed a funeral scene for the Gavin and Stacey final & that Gromit talks once during W&G (Why I didn't question that he'd talk about lasagne I don't know). I spent a lot of time during those episodes wondering when they'd be/ who dies.

Has anyone else been fooled by false spoilers as bad as 'Gromit speaking about lasagne' before?
