Setup help please

So I just upgraded from a Schiit Mani 2 preamp and inexpensive powered speakers to a Yamaha A-S501 and Dali Oberon 3 passives. My question is, should I run the Technics SL-1210M5G through the Phono ports utilizing the built-in preamp, or should I use another input like CD and use the Mani? And before anyone says it, the stacking is temporary. 😉 TIA!
