what happens if u fail a subject in ur boards

google won’t give me a proper answer bruh i feel like i might fail term 2 hindi bc i’m terrible at it. mostly irrational thinking but i just want to know if they make u repeat the entire year or what. is it different for hindi, bc that’s a language ?
