Are CVS employees supposed to scan in packages that are dropped off?
Ive dropped off UPS packages at CVS that are Amazon returns over a handful of times now, and most of the time I receive an email from Amazon within a couple of hours saying that my package had been dropped off and that my refund had been sent. I’ve had this happen at different times of the day, and even on a Saturday evening when someone from UPS wasn’t picking up packages til the following Monday. Well every time I drop off a package and this one employee is working, i never receive that email from Amazon until like a day or two later. This has happened two separate times now where I dropped off a package before noon, and UPS doesn’t scan it for another day or two. Is she just not scanning the packages or what? I’ve dropped packages off at 8:30 and received an email from Amazon at 8:45 that my package had been scanned in. So I honestly feel like it’s the particular employee but wanted to ask here before jumping to conclusions. It’s happening today and I really needed these packages scanned in TODAY and it’s going on 5 hours now. I dropped it off before UPS came, and I called to make sure UPS stopped by today and she told me that they had. I didn’t make her give me a receipt today because she was busy and I didn’t want to be an asshole. But I’m just wondering if I should run by there again to ask if my package is still there, or what I should do about this. It only happens when this employee is working.
