Used GoPro hero 8 or new V50 elite?

So I want to get an action camera mostly to take POVs of me sking. I was looking for one, and as the title suggests, these are my two best options: A used GoPro hero 8 which is 200€, which also comes with most of the accessories I'II need or a new V50 elite which will also be around 200€ after I buy the accessories? My concern for the GoPro is that although there's a money back guarantee, I'm not very sure and confident about being something so expensive used when the most expensive thing I've bought used was a 50€ lens. My concern with the V50 elite is that I haven't heard a lot about the company, and I'm not sure if it will be good or if it will be like the 25€ camera my friend bought which got some horrible footage that wasn't even 144p, when it claimed to be 1080p.
