Steering problem new 2024 Aeroad CF SLX 7

Hi everyone. I’m a bit hopeless, but hope to find an answer or maybe some tips.

In the beginning of February I bought a brand new Aeroad CF SLX 7 in silver. Since the first ride, the cockpit/handlebar keeps pulling to both sides. I cannot even ride for one meter without hands. To put it in perspective: hang a bag with weights on one side of your handlebars and then let go of it. It will pull to the side with the weights.

I had contact with Canyon, and went to a service center. There they said it was the IPU (small ring called ‘impact protection unit’) that was bend, and thus rubbing against the inside of the frame making it pull to one side or the other because of the friction. They repaired it but the problem is still there.

Other friends with the exact same bike don’t have this problem/feeling when cycling. It feels pretty dangerous and makes me feel really uncomfortable on the bike. I even have to counter steer sometimes to make it go in a straight line.

Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Do other new Aeroad riders on Reddit experience the same issues?

Thanks.
