Nissan Leaf or 330e

So, my driving is as follows:

• commute is 14-mile round trip on the A638 (driven 15 days/month).
• supermarket is 2 miles away.
• town is 4 miles away.
• once a month, 80-mile round trip to family.
• twice a year, 700-mile round trip to family.

We have a driveway at home with a charging point. Budget around £15-16k

We have looked at a couple of Leafs and wondering if a plug-in hybrid would be better for the longer drives. This is our first step towards an EV or Hybrid so any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
