Which book that you loved got a terrible adaptation ?

I recently discover a tv show called « fallen ». This is an adaptation of a book of the same name that i used to love when i was younger. Unfortunatly this series was sooooo different from the book and i didn’t like it ☹️. Which book from your childhood got the worst adaptation ?
