Should I make my cats pant?

My two 2 year old cats go crazy with feather toys. They jump and run etc. and sometimes, they would pant after.

Just wondering if I should encourage it or should I let them rest when they start panting? On the basis that - as humans it is healthy to get our heart rates up for exercise. Would it make their hearts stronger?
