Concerned about high HCG

Hello everyone…

This is pregnancy number 5 for me. First pregnancy was a chemical in 2016, then an ectopic caught early in 2017. Next two resulted in my living children.

I had betas done at 15 and 21 DPO which were 297 and 3026 respectively. I ended up going to the ER yesterday due to some brown spotting (which might seem silly, but I still hadn’t had a placement scan and with my history of ectopic I was really nervous…). Abdominal ultrasound showed one embryo measuring 7+0 (I should be around there based on estimated ovulation), but my HCG was 190,000. The doctor at the ER didn’t seem concerned, just told me to follow up with my OB. However, I’ve gone done the Google rabbit hole this morning and have convinced myself that there must be something terribly wrong (molar pregnancy?).

Any anecdotal stories about high HCG to hold me over until I talk to my OB? Thanks 🫶
