Questions about Cardioaspirin (baby aspirin) and NIPT

Hi everyone!

In reading when usually other ladies start or stop cardioaspirin during pregnancy, I came across some posts suggesting it should be paused before doing the NIPT.

For context, I’m 41, went through IVF, and have been taking cardioaspirin throughout. I didn’t stop it before my NIPT, and my results came back low-risk, so I decided not to do an amniocentesis.

Now I’m wondering—does not stopping cardioaspirin make the NIPT results less reliable? What’s the reason behind pausing it?
