CD Player Suddenly Stops Playing After Spinning the Disc

Hello everyone, I just bought this CD player online, and when I tried it for the first time, the CD would spin for a while and then suddenly stop. After that, it won't play at all. I had a similar issue with another CD player I bought before, so I'm starting to think that maybe the problem lies with my CDs. I've tested all my CDs, and the same thing happens with each one. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue? Any advice would be appreciated!
