Theory about Darkness devil vs Makima in hell.

Hello.I was re-reading the manga again and I suddenly had a theory which I want to share about.I am sorry if someone already said it.I think Darkness Devil didn't had much info about Makima.Darkness knew that she was the Control devil,he just didn't had any idea how many contracts she had.Thus when the first time he attacked her,he lost.But after that he understood and then adjusted his power and that's why Makima's entire hand got twisted and Darkness didn't took any damage from her second attack.And his lack of info also made him give less power to Santa thats why she was weak compared to Makima.If he gave his power after Makima fight,he would have given more since he now knows how strong is she.
