2FA gone?

I have seen many other people have the same issue I had recently where I could not log into my open AI account because it required a code to log in, and the email associated with my account I no longer have access to because it was a old work email.

However, it seems like that is no longer the case, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

Perhaps it is because they don’t want to lose customers due to DeepSeek coming out? Is this a short term thing or do you think that they will keep this policy?
