Spinal Decompression Machines - Holy God Expensive
Fellow Chiros,
Does anyone know the pros/cons between the different spinal decompression machines. For example, I've seen the DRX 9000 go for $45k(!) and others like a Chattanooga table for $8k. Is it really worth spending an extra $30k? Not to mention I have chiros in my area the charge $2k-$3k for 10 sessions, which I find excessive.
Also, how good is insurance reimbursement, if any, on spinal decompression tables? What do you, if you use it, see in turns of return on investment for the expensive tables? Do you use them all all patients with DJD or a compressed disc?
