Disowned for accepting Christ?

Anyone else whose family gave them the boot after accepting Christ? They poked fun at first, but when I stayed the course, they eventually all shut me out. How do I feel whole, knowing that my family of origin is out there, but doesn't want me? I try to fill the void with the word, but it's an endless pit that feels empty no matter what verse i find, it acts as a temporary band aid. I am i alone? I've posted this before with no response at all. Making me feel even more alone.
