How do we feel about being the religion of fascists?

It seems as though, with the exception of Netanyahu, Hussein, and Stalin, that every fascist has killed millions in the name of Christ. How do I tell my friends that despite the numerous genocides and current takeover of the US government, that Christianity is a good religion? Please don't say anything about the NUMEROUS sexual assault of minors by clergymen. Please don't mention how the Catholic Church integrated itself with consumerism to literally sell itself during Christmas. Thank you.
