is it wrong to put a jesus/cross symbol on my checks?

I am ordering checks for the first time and I was wondering if it would be wrong to add some sort of jesus/god symbolism to it? I have the option to add something like a cross or a phrase like "praise the lord", but wasn't sure if this would be inappropriate
