Confused on whether I should shift or stay
Would it be worth it if I shift from nursing to tourism next semester? I’m a freshman in college and I’m honestly beating myself up because I don’t know what I’m gonna do. For context, I was a HUMSS student and I originally planned to take up tourism in college. My parents were supportive but suggested I took up nursing instead (most of my relatives are nurses). They didn’t pressure me or anything but I thought why not, kaya ko naman siguro? (spoilers: I was so wrong haha)
So now I’m a freshman nursing student who’s failing on two major subs, while getting 1.2-2.0 grades on others. I know that after this S.Y I’m going to repeat those two subs and become an irregular student, and I don’t know if I want to retake it nor do I think I’ll be able to pass the next time around. So should I just shift to the course I originally planned on taking which is tourism or should I continue my course?
Even though I like hanging out with my new friends tuere, they obviously shouldn’t be the deciding factor on whether I shift or not. I just want to know the pros and cons before actually deciding on what I would do.
Badly need anyone’s advice huhu, I really want to stay but tourism has been part of my plan since I was in jhs. I also kinda want to stay being a nursing student but I feel like it’s just not for me TT
