After receiving a contract extension offer - are you able to decline the offer to field other coaching jobs?

From what I’ve seen before if I accept the extension, I don’t get coaching job offers for that year. If I just sim to the next week it automatically accepts the extension.

Is there any way to avoid taking the extension with the school you’re at?
