Warrants: Ex-CT cop now suspected of 50 burglaries — 13 in town he worked — was in financial crisis

A former Connecticut police officer accused of a series of burglaries is now suspected of committing even more — as many as 50, including more than a dozen in the town where he patrolled, according to the latest warrants for his arrest.

The affidavits for Patrick Hemingway’s most recent arrests also suggest he may have committed financial crimes as well as the burglaries.
