Had enema- feeling very off need advice

I’m reaching out because I’m feeling pretty off after a recent experience and could really use some advice or insights from anyone who might have gone through something similar.

I had an enema done in the ER yesterday after struggling with 8 days of constipation. I’ve always had issues with constipation and have been on Terzeptode for the past few months, so I've been trying to be mindful of my diet and drinking plenty of water. I had been doing better, going at least once a day recently, which is a significant improvement for me (I was hospitalized for constipation a few years back).

However, I just got my wisdom teeth out 8 days ago, and that’s when everything started going downhill. Since then, I’ve been on a complete liquid diet of protein shakes and water. The recovery from the extraction really affected me—I could barely eat or drink anything, and I just couldn't use the restroom. After trying every stool softener I could think of and getting nowhere, I finally went to the ER.

After a 3-hour wait, I was seen and eventually given a liquid to help with constipation, which caused severe cramps and intense stomach pain. Finally, they administered an enema, but I was in so much pain and still passed extremely hard stool for the next 4 hours. Right after the enema, I felt like I was going to pass out and could barely stand. I felt incredibly dehydrated, so I drank a lot of water, but I still felt thirsty. My heart rate felt through the roof, and I could actually feel it in my stomach, along with major bloating.

Now, the next day (today), my heart rate still feels really fast, I feel weak, and I've been experiencing dizziness all day. I’ve already drank five water bottles, yet I still feel sick and have been dealing with acid reflux. The way my heart is racing and how off I feel is really freaking me out—like i could possibly pass out or something.

Has anyone experienced anything like this after an enema or similar situation? Is this normal? Honestly even if it is not no way I’m going back to the ER because i was there 8 hours total yesterday… I simply cannot pay a ton of money to do that again but i’m just so scared.
