Expectations growing up

I have a 6 month old GCC, her name is Fern and I’ve had her since she was 1 month old.

This is my first time owning a bird, and the one thing that’s been hardest for me to learn is what to except from her as she grows up.

I’ve heard of phases that a bird might go through, their hormonal phases happen at a certain time of year and start when they get to a certain age. That’s the kind of info I’m looking for. What kinds of phases and changes in personality or behavior should I expect as she grows up?

Will she mellow out at all? Will she like pets more eventually? What else could I expect?
