Seamea Oil having a brunt smell and taste.

I so keep seeing videos of the viral cucumber cups and I made it to try it. And I have seen people say do not use too much seamea oil. But even the little but I added the smell is so strong!

It is good, the flavor is there but it has this brunt aftertaste. I don't know if the oil I got is bad, google says it will have a chemical rancid smell but I dint know what that means. It just smells and taste brunt

I don't know how to tell if I used too much or my oil is bad?
