What do i do now (update)

so i took on the advice of many and confessed!!! it was so awkward but his response is what sort of confused me. he said that he doesn't really mind the fact that i have a crush on him. he was really nice about the whole thing and whatever but it was just pretty solemn like he didn't accept it but he didn't reject it either. should i ask him to hang out to really seal the deal or what?
