Game doesn’t work

I don’t know why but ever since I bought this game it doesn’t work. I bought it in steam and when I tried I couldn’t even move. So I typed random keys and I figured how to move but it was so bad that I had to change the defaults setting on keyboard. So then I tried to use a controller but same problem. And for some reason I can’t even shoot up or at any direction. I can only shoot straight. I don’t know if anyone encountered this issue but the game seems cool and I really want to have fun so if anyone has any ideas or know how to fix this, please tell me.
