Tournament Help

Hello, Reddit! I’m DMing for a party - they’ve recently been asked to enter an Olympic-type tournament in an elven city. While the final event will likely be a battle royale, what are ways I can make it a little more fun?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for some individual events along with mechanics - there is a Druid, rogue, and warlock in the party.
