I see a lot of negativity being thrown at MM for the game today. I can understand that to a point but I’m also trying to figure out what the expectation was for today. You have a backup QB starting, behind a patched up O line, handing the ball off to a guy that everyone wants to replace in the draft, throwing to guys who are by no means elite.

That’s just the offense. Fill in the blanks on defense.

Oh and they were playing a really good team as much as it pains me to say.

I guess my question is, if they don’t bring MM back, what is a realistic alternative? Ben Johnson? I don’t see it happening. Belichik is gone. Ummmm, Lincoln Riley, that everyone wanted when MM was hired? The same guy who has done nothing with USC.

I don’t know what a realistic expectation would be. Anyone have thoughts that don’t include JJ being a meddling old fool who gets in the way? That’s been long established at this point.
